Dying hair can be quite stressful and a little pain full

Lets see... where to begin, my suitemate and I game of with the grand idea of bleaching out my hair and making me a ginger with big chunks of blonde in it. Needless to say it’s not ass easy as it may seem.

I’ve had hair dye on my head on and off for about 4 hours now. My scalp is on fire, my hair is bright orange (because we forgot to put the no red drops in it woops!) and I have a really big headache. haha wow. at this point I’m scared that my hair is going to fallout. Goodness I sure hope not.

I’m starting to wonder if this is what it feels like to be on a makeover show. Minus the bleaching of the teeth, the boob job, the face lift, and what ever else those crazy people put themselves through.

confront/interact with a culture different from my own

I come from a small city in Wisconsin of about 15,000 people. Most of which are white middle class citizens, a couple hundred mexicans, some asians and very few blacks. When I lived in Minneapolis there were quite a few whites, blacks, asians and so on and so forth, but I attended that Art Institute International Minnesota and the majority of the students were middle class or rich white people. I was never really given the chance to interact with other cultures and experience there way of life.

I moved to Chicago a couple months ago and I have been so overwhelmed and caught of guard with all different cultures. Truthfully I was a little intimidated and scared at first and I still am. But I feel so privileged to be able to be exposed to all these different cultures, it’s unreal. Back home in Wisconsin you would never get this unless you lived in Milwaukee or Madison but even then it would be to this extent.

I changed roommates a couple weeks into the semester because my first one was extremely mean and I wanted to rip her face off. (haha can’t help it, it you knew her you would totally understand and would want to do the same.) I was then placed into a room that I am in right now. My roommate is from Maryland and she’s black... and yes at first I was a little nervous because I had never had to live with someone from another culture or race, I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t want to say anything that would offend her, at times I tend to just say shit and I don’t pay attention to the words that I’m saying and they can be kinda racy if you taken the wrong way. After a week or so I was fine and I have been so intrigued by her and her families background. My vocabulary has changed a bit, thank goodness. I’m so used to being around a bunch of colored open minded individuals that when I went home for easter I was going crazy because people from home are so annoying now and they don’t understand what I’m talking about...

Great Film Qualities

There are several aspect that need to be put together to make a great film. The film has to leave a Lasting Impression. The Story and Theme through out the store have to be interesting and well written. You have to have the right actors and actresses cast, they do not have to be well known but they do have to be able to play the part and play it well. The Production Values have to be done in a way that will fit the story line. The right type of editing, lighting and cinematography work. for example to make a scary movie your not going to want to make everything bright and clean cut, it’s going to be a little darker lighting and a bit edgy. And last but not least Audio is VERY important, it sets the tone and vibe of the movie, Scary movies wouldn’t be scary with out it.

Airline Tickets

Why do Airline Tickets have to cost so much? sigh, no good! I’m trying to find cheap tickets to fly to London for my Cousins Wedding this summer. By the looks of it, it doesn’t matter if I depart from Madison, Milwaukee or Chicago tickets are over $1200 a piece, YIKES, No good! It’s sooo frustrating, to bad they don’t have a train that’ll take me to London from Chicago, That would be awesome but i would take forever to get there.
